July 23, 7:30 pm EST: Hawaii with ASIRT Global Researcher and Writer, award-winning journalist and novelist Debra Bokur who will introduce her newly released first novel, The Fire Thief. The murder mystery that takes place in Hawaii will set the stage for an interesting discussion about beautiful Hawaii and its culture, including music played by James Walker McDaniel, and recipes. Join us for an evening that will delight all of your senses.

July 30, 7:30 pm EST: Uganda with Foreign Service Official and ASIRT Board Member Kimberly Harrington, just returned from her post in Uganda, who will captivate us with her family’s intriguing experience of the country’s beautiful culture, hospitable people and gorgeous landscape, as well as the unique challenges citizens face.

August 6, 7:30 pm EST: Kenya with Dr. David Silverstein, a prominent physician, and Channa Commanday, a nurse practitioner, from their home in Kenya, along with Bright Owaya, a road safety advocate and Executive Director of ASIRT-Kenya, who together will paint a picture of the magnificent scenery, vibrant life, realities and challenges of living in Kenya.
